Luke joined Fleet Feet, Incorporated in 2003 as our first Brand Manager working with the New Balance brand. Soon after joining Fleet Feet, Luke was given the responsibility of creating consistency in the fitting experience offered across our stores, and as a result developed our proprietary fitting process. Currently he is our VP of Business Development overseeing our vendor relationship programs while continuing to support key training and branding initiatives in many capacities. Luke began his career in the specialty retail business in 1978 when he took a part time job in a small running store in the Washington, DC area. After a four year tour of duty in the US Army, Luke returned to the industry continuing to work in specialty retail before moving on to Brooks Sports in 1992. While at Brooks, Luke worked in positions ranging from field marketing and sales to Vice President of Sales. Luke's running career began as an eight year old in 1969 and he ran competitively through his service in the US Army. He has completed 25 marathons, his last the 2000 Boston Marathon, and now focuses his training on one 50 mile race every November.
