Trusted shoe, NOT anymore!
I have been Running in Asics Kayano's since they first came out. I am actually going to return this pair. I ran 6 miles in these and I felt like I had Boards on my feet. The slapping of the pavement was crazy, Im a very quiet runner, but not in these. I spoke with an ASICS rep. they suggested I just try another Model, did not dispute the rough run!

Trying to copy HOKA?
I'm looking for shoes with support/stability that do not have this ultra thick sole. Why are all the shoe makers copying HOKA, can we back up a few years and go back to the stability/support shoe, regular sole height/cushion.

Excellent pair
First pair of Gel-kayanos for me. I "upgraded" from the excellent gt-2000s I had previously. There is a definite improvement in the fit. Feet feel like they are being hugged. Love them.

Men's / ACICS Gel-Kayano 32-11x1 Size 11 Normal Width D
The fit is fantastic. The brand I had before (Brooks Glycerin) weere OK, but the soles wore out very quickly (especially the right foot). These I purchased are terrific. I want to say that the man who helped me was patient, kind, heard what I had to say about the Brooks (purchased at your store), and helped me to find these. He deserves 5 stars, too. Sorry, I can't remember his name, but he was great!

An update on a great shoe
Over the past couple of years, the Gel Kayano has gone through several updates. There is a much more cushioned feel to the shoe now, but the same great fit. The latest version has added some nice additional features like a loop on the back to help put the shoe on. Another winner! My typical run is 5-15 miles, and these shoes remain comfortable even at long distances.
