Brooks Glycerin 22 Review: Fine-Tuned for Comfort?
The Glycerin 22, available February 1, has been updated with DNA Tuned cushioning, the same midsole foam used in the Glycerin Max.
The Brooks Glycerin 22 delivers an expertly balanced ride that combines luxurious comfort with responsive performance.
This max-cushioned trainer features all-new, nitrogen-infused DNA Tuned cushioning, engineered with innovative dual-size cell technology which allows Brooks’ designers to create different zones of cushioning. The result gives you plush landings in the heel that transition smoothly into energetic toe-offs, making your miles feel effortless.
In our Brooks Glycerin 22 review one of our wear-testers noted, "Overall, this shoe has a great ride. It’s smooth, soft, and has some nice pop to it.”

Great shoe. Very comfortable for a long day if being on my feet at work as an optical technician.
I really love them.
Service far except expectations. Staff is very friendly.
Great shoe. Good fit. Have worn this model for years, and this is just as comfortable as the previous versions.
The style of the Glycerin shoes I initially ordered just wasn't what I had in mind. The return and exchange policy was fast, easy, and enabled me to get another style in just a couple of days. I've long been a fan of Fleet Feet for those reasons and for the excellent service from team members at the Des Moines store where I've shopped for about 9 years. Keep up the great work! Thank you.
Excellent for daily training…. I get around 400-450 miles of comfortable running. For me, the first area to wear is under the big toe - probably depends on how you run. On my 4th pair of 22’s and God knows how many of previous versions. In the top couple of versions.
This is my 3rd pair of Glycerins. Comfortably snug with great cushioning throughout sole. Pretty stable. Only shoe that got me running again after knee replacement.
I've been wearing the Glycerin for years - and this latest version might be my favorite. The shoe seems to be a bit more secure and more shock absorption.
The shoes are wonderful unfortunately the insert that were sold to me were so painful I couldn’t wear them. I was fitted with one type as what I wanted was not in stock. Again notice to self don't buy something that is not in the actual shoe you were buying.
