Be prepared for any weather, this jacket has a wind-resistant nylon DWR water-resistance to protect you from the elements. There are thumbholes at the wrists to keep your hands warm and five total pockets to store your belongings—two zippered hand pockets, one zippered chest pocket with a media cord outlet and two internal dump pockets.

Smartwool used Merino wool in the lining to make it super comfortable, wick away moisture and control odor. The result is a jacket that is breathable, lightweight and packable while giving you room to move.

Merino wool is a natural, durable fiber grown on Merino sheep. The breed is known for its very fine, soft wool, which is what Smartwool uses to craft each piece it makes.

Unlike the old, scratchy wool sweaters you might be used to, Smartwool's Merino is super soft next to skin, helps naturally regulate your body temperature, wicks sweat away quickly, helps to provide UPF protection, is fire-resistant, is biodegradable, and won't stink when you start sweating. Basically it is the perfect piece for any adventure.

Shell: 100% Nylon. Back / Sides / Sleeve: 54% Polyester, 38% Wool, 8% Elastane. Lining: 56% Merino Wool, 44% Polyester. Fill: 50% Recycled/Reclaimed Wool, 38% Wool, 12% Polyester.

Machine wash cold gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry low. Cool iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
