5k/10k training is more than just race prep. It's a chance to meet new friends and gain a new hobby. We cater to all levels of ability from someone walking their first 3.1 miles to the casual athlete looking to push their limits with 6.2 miles.
Weekly group training sessions with a professional coach bring a team atmosphere and built-in accountability buddies. If completing a 5k or 10k is on your list for 2025 we are here to help you reach your goals.
Training starts 6:30 pm Tuesday, September 2nd at Fleet Feet Burbank
Our beginner 5K training program is structured to help you cross the finish line in just eight weeks. This group is for new runners looking to complete their first 5K race or for runners who may be coming back from some time off or an injury.
The 10K training program is designed for the currently casual athlete who is ready to step up the intensity a bit. We'll dive a little deeper into the subjects that will help you go beyond the 5k: speed training, nutrition, hydration, safety & visibility, and more. Throughout the program, you'll gradually increase your mileage as you train mentally and physically for the 6.2-mile distance.
Groups meet:
Tuesdays at 6:30pm
Saturdays at 7:30am for the 10k and 8:00 am for the 5k program

• An 8-week training program with calendar of scheduled in-person workouts and additional recommended workouts.
