Half Marathon Training Program

Join coaches Lisa Zajac, Andrew Miller and their crew of awesome running coaches to train for a half marathon. Our official goal race is the Eversource Hartford Half Marathon, but if you plan to run a different half, let us know and we can help adjust the training for you!

START DATE: TBD. Meets Saturdays at 7:30am (meet at Fleet Feet - 1003 Farmington Ave, West Hartford 06107).

TRAINING: This 13-week program is open to first-time and repeat half marathoners who have been running fairly consistently as the program miles ramp up quickly. 

We’ll kick the program off with a get-to-know you session at Fleet Feet followed by a 5-mile run. Our second practice will feature a 10k timed trial - results will be used to calculate your training paces during the program. Later in the program we may take a field trip to a local rails-to-trails (Farmington or Vernon) for our longer runs...and celebrate post-run with a picnic!

**You must be able to run 6 miles at a 12 minute per mile pace by the second practice (which will be a 10k time-trial). If you cannot run this pace, you may continue to participate in the program, but you will need to be self-supported as our last coach-supported pace group will be ~12:00/mile pace utilizing run/walk intervals.**

PROGRAM COST: $150 for program only (does not include Eventbrite fees).
