If your kids like to run, we've got a fun program just for them: Zoomerangs!

This non-competitive "open track" program is designed for kids 12 & under. It gives them the opportunity to experience running in a fun, friendly atmosphere where the motto is "Will run for worms!" (gummy worms, that is!). Participating kids will get a free Zoomerangs T-shirt and can earn special charms and candy as they run laps!

It's a great opportunity for kids to run safely, run correctly using good form, make friends, and get stronger/build endurance to perform better in other sports (or rock the mile in gym class). Most of all, our goal is to empower kids to accomplish their goals and instill in them a lifelong love of running. It's also a great way for mom or dad to spend quality time with your kids - and get in shape too (if you can keep up!).

The program will culminate with the kids participating in our goal race, the Little Manchester Road Race. This is a free kids' race limited to 1000 registrants. Sign up details will go live soon on the Manchester Road Race's website

Our program starts on Sunday, Sept. 14 and meets Sundays from 3:30-4:30pm at the Webster Hill Elementary School Fields. There will be 6 sessions with three raindates and no class on Sunday, Oct. 12 due to the holiday weekend.

STARTS: Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3:30pm

LOCATION: Meets at Webster Hill Elementary School Fields in West Hartford

PROGRAM: 6 practices with three rain-date, running on Sundays from 3:30-4:30pm

PRICE: 50$, includes a FREE Zoomerangs T-shirt! (Does not include RunSignUp fees)

GRADUATION RACE: Little Manchester Road Race on Saturday, Nov. 22
