Amy Rogalsky - Assistant Coach

Amy has worked in the fitness industry for over a decade. As a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor she found her passion in helping others find their own journey to health. Amy was inspired to start running for health reasons, and also after watching her husband complete the Race To Robie Creek. Something about seeing that challenge sparked a flame inside of her, and she wanted to get better at it. She started running over 7 years ago and has not stopped running since! Amy has completed countless 5k’s and multiple half marathons, with a goal to complete her first marathon on the horizon. Her favorite place on earth is the Boise Greenbelt, whether it’s running, walking or biking! She is the wife to a rock star man of 14 years and the mother to 4 beautiful children. When she’s not running she’s learning, lifting, or spending time with her family. She loves the outdoors more than anything else and prefers heat over snow! She also loves to cook and bake, sharing the spoils with others.
TESTIMONIALS
Learn what past training program participants have to say about the program and Coach A.K!
“Working with FleetFeet and Coach A.K. was rewarding and incredibly insightful to beginning a new fitness program. I was a competitive athlete for most of my adolescence until I suffered a severe, and then repeated, knee injury. Working with A.K. was so easy and she was super responsive to working with me through injury questions and even providing feedback and guidance while I was traveling for work and couldn’t make the regular group meet ups. A.K. has a such a positive and contagious energy that makes even painful workouts fun, and she is a great mentor and coach. She’s generous with her time and it’s very obvious that running and coaching are true passions for her. I would recommend the FleetFeet running program and coach A.K. to anyone of any fitness level seeking to grow and accomplish walking or running goals.”

"I have always enjoyed running and I have wanted to run a half marathon but was not sure how to train. I did some research on Pinterest and just ran then one day on Facebook I saw a Fleet feet group with AK hosting a running workshop. I thought this would be a great opportunity to see how a real training program would look like compared to what I was looking at on Pinterest. Ak has such an amazing spirit and the love of running she has really is inspiring, anyone that also enjoys this hobby will be honored in running alongside AK. My biggest obstacle was pacing and figuring out how to breath when running. Ak helped me figure that out and what a world of difference that makes. With this training program she had all sorts of different exercises and mobility along the way which made a difference rather than just straight running. I will definitely be using AK in my future training for a full marathon."

"My goal for joining the fall training program was to run a 10k with no breaks, I met my goal but I also got to experience so much more! I’ve experienced sportsmanship, kindness, and the most uplifting energy from everyone. I can truly say every group run was a great one!"
